I love wrapping gifts. Tying that bow on a perfectly wrapped gift box makes my little heart flutter. I love how methodical and precise it is and how beautiful the final product is. My ideal night would be listening to christmas carols, hot chocolate in my cup, wrapping presents and smoking a j. In that scenario I could wrap my presents, my families presents, my boyfriends presents, and that weird guy down the street – I’ll wrap your presents too dude. My go-to place for supplies is Paper Source. Not only do they have great wrapping materials but they sell a bunch of great stationary, stocking stuffers, and a ton of shit no one really needs but makes you wonder how you ever lived your life without it.
One of the best little tools I found was a Lettermate envelope addressing guide. It helps keep your hand-writing in a straight line and the same size. This is obviously made for addressing envelopes but I used it to make gift tags for everyone and it really helped make the final look more clean and professional. I stuck with a traditional color palette of gold, red, and white and used American Crafts markers for labeling.
